Baggage

Each airline has its own baggage policy, specifying the number of items allowed on board, including their weight and dimensions. It also defines which types of luggage are included in the ticket price and which are subject to an additional fee. Passengers should not rely on previous experience with other airlines and are advised to always review the Conditions of Carriage of the airline they are currently flying with. These can be found on the airline's website in the Terms & Conditions section or provided by a travel agency.

• Hand baggage refers to items the passenger carries throughout their time at the airport and during the flight. Usually, these belongings (handbag, laptop, backpack, plastic bag, duty free purchase…) are placed under the seat in front of the passenger or in the overhead compartments.
• Checked baggage is handed over at the check-in desk before the flight and transported in the aircraft hold. The passenger can collect their baggage from the baggage carousel upon arrival at the destination.

• Checked baggage: Available for an additional fee (typically 10 kg or 20 kg), bookable online or at the airport.

• Checked baggage: Max. weight: 23 kg or 32 kg, max. dimensions: 149 x 119 x 171 cm. Bookable online.

Clients of travel agencies must follow the baggage allowance specified in their travel package. Individual passengers must follow the rules applicable to their selected fare (more information below).

Weight and quantity limits:
Baggage allowance depends on the selected fare package:

• For technical reasons, the maximum allowed weight per item is 32 kg, with maximum dimensions of 250 cm (length + width + height, including handles and wheels)
• A cabin bag is an unregistered bag with maximum dimensions of 56 x 45 x 25 cm and weight of up to 8 kg or a musical instrument with weight not exceeding 8 kg, maximum length of 90 cm, maximum width of 35 cm and maximum depth of 20 cm (including the case).
• “A small personal bag” - a handbag or laptop with max. dimensions of 40 x 30 x 15 cm and weight of up to 3 kg.
• Baggage pooling is not permitted.
• Oversized or overweight cabin baggage will be checked in and transported in the aircraft's cargo hold for a fee pursuant to the carrier's price list.
