Yerevan is the capital of Armenia and one of the oldest continuously inhabited capitals in the world. Transport from the airport
- Bus / Airport Express 201 – Zvartnots International Airport is located approximately 12 to 13 km from the centre of Yerevan. You can reach the city by express bus line 201, operated by Elitebus. The bus connects the airport with the centre of Yerevan and the ticket price is 300 AMD per person.
- Taxi / apps – taxis or transport apps are a convenient option for travelling directly to your hotel or the city centre. The journey from the airport to central Yerevan takes approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic. When using a taxi, it is recommended to use an official taxi stand or an app with the price shown in advance.
- Transfer / shuttle – you can also use a pre-booked private transfer directly to your hotel. This option is practical especially for late arrivals, larger luggage or travelling in a larger group.
- Car rental – you can rent a car directly at the airport. This is a suitable option if you plan trips outside Yerevan, for example to Geghard Monastery, Garni Temple, Lake Sevan, the Areni wine region or other parts of Armenia.
