Antalya

Antalya is located in southwestern Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Turkey, thanks to its beautiful beaches and striking green cliffs surrounding the city. The resort stretches along the Turkish Riviera and offers a wide range of hotel complexes. You can visit Antalya as part of a holiday package purchased through a travel agency, but you can also experience it as an individual traveller by using direct regular flights available during the summer season.

Flights from Bratislava

You can fly from Bratislava to the Turkish resort of Antalya with a regular Pegasus Airlines service, operating from 1 April 2026 to 24 October 2026. Flights by SunExpress Airlines are also available from the end of April to the end of October. The flight takes two and a half hours and lands at Antalya Airport.

Transport from the airport to the city

From the airport, you can take bus number 600, which runs every 30 minutes to the city’s bus station. From there, you can continue to other parts of the region as needed. Taxis are also available at the airport, and private transfers can be arranged as well.

  • Hadrian’s Gate – an iconic Roman triumphal arch, one of Antalya’s best-known landmarks and the entrance gate to Kaleiçi.
  • Düden Waterfalls – a natural attraction on the edge of the city, where the waterfalls create impressive scenery, including a section that flows down towards the sea.
  • Konyaaltı Beach – a popular city beach with a promenade, views of the Taurus Mountains and ideal conditions for relaxing by the sea.
  • Perge or Aspendos – the area around Antalya is perfect for day trips to ancient sites, especially the ancient city of Perge or the famous Roman theatre in Aspendos.
