Ohrid

Ohrid is one of the most beautiful towns in North Macedonia, located on the shore of Lake Ohrid and surrounded by mountains. The direct air connection between Bratislava and Ohrid operates several times a week during the summer flight schedule, and up to 4 times a week in the main summer season. The flight from Bratislava to Ohrid takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Transport from the airport

• Taxi / private transport – Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport is located approximately 9 km from the centre of Ohrid. The most convenient transport option is a taxi or private transfer. The journey to the centre takes approximately 15 minutes.
• Transfer / shuttle – for some flights and holiday stays, organised shuttle services or transfers according to the flight schedule may be available. It is advisable to check this option in advance when booking accommodation or transport.
• Car rental – you can rent a car directly at the airport. This is a practical option if you plan to explore the area around Lake Ohrid, the Monastery of Saint Naum, Galičica National Park or other places in North Macedonia.

• Galičica National Park – a natural area between Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa, suitable for hiking, viewpoints and car trips.
