Flights from Bratislava

Transport from the airport
- Prestia e Comandè bus – the most practical way to travel from Palermo Airport to the city centre is by bus operated by Prestia e Comandè. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes and connect the airport with the centre of Palermo and Palermo Centrale railway station. The journey takes approximately 50–55 minutes and the ticket costs around €5.80.
- Train – you can also reach central Palermo by train from the airport. The connection runs from Punta Raisi station to Palermo Centrale station. The journey takes approximately 45–60 minutes and the ticket price is around €5.80.
- Bus connections around Sicily – bus services also operate from the airport to other towns and areas in Sicily, such as Trapani, Agrigento, Sciacca, Ribera and other locations in the western part of the island.
- Taxi / private transport – taxi services are available directly at the airport. The journey to Palermo’s historic centre takes approximately 30–50 minutes, depending on traffic. When taking a taxi, it is advisable to check the price in advance or use the official taxi rank.
- Car rental – you can rent a car directly at the airport. This is an ideal option if you plan to explore Sicily, the beaches around Palermo, the town of Cefalù, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, Trapani or other parts of the island.
