Bari

Bari is a city in southern Italy, the capital of the Bari province in the Apulia region. It is located by the Adriatic Sea and is one of the largest and most important ports in Italy. From Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (Bari Airport) to the city center, you can travel comfortably and quickly by bus.

  • Bus Stop at the Airport: Buses depart directly from the airport terminal. The stop is located near the main exit.
  • Route to the City Center: The bus takes you directly from the airport to the center of Bari, stopping at several key locations, including the main train station (Bari Centrale) and some major squares.
  • Travel Time: Approximately 30 minutes.
  • Ticket Price: Tickets cost around €5 for a one-way trip. You can buy tickets directly at the airport, from vending machines, or online.
  • Frequency: Buses run regularly, usually every 30 minutes.
  • Taxi Service: If you prefer comfort or have more luggage, taxis are also available at the airport. A taxi ride to the city center will cost around €15–20 and take approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.

What Not to Miss in Bari

Bari is known for its rich culture and traditions. The Old Town (Bari Vecchia) is narrow and labyrinthine, with historic buildings, narrow streets, and squares. Some of the most significant landmarks include:
