Based on the approved amendment to the Airport Operator Security Programme of M. R. Štefánik Airport – Airport Bratislava, a.s. (BTS), the Security Systems and Access Control Department accepts certificates confirming the completion of the relevant aviation security training:

• Flight crew members – with annual recurrent training,
• All other personnel – with recurrent training every five years.

The training and examination must have been conducted at least in accordance with Point 11.2.6 or Point 11.2.2 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 and Article 6, Point 6.11.4.2 of the National Civil Aviation Security Programme against Acts of Unlawful Interference.

The submitted certificate must clearly identify the relevant training completed. The validity of the certificate expires one year (for flight crew) or five years (for all other personnel) after its date of issue. Certificates stating a specific validity period ("valid from – to") will only be accepted until the expiry date indicated on the certificate.
