Rich Oriental culture and azure beaches within easy reach from Bratislava
Agadir is an ideal choice for travellers who want to combine relaxation by the Atlantic Ocean with an easy introduction to Moroccan culture. The city offers idyllic sandy beaches, a seaside promenade, fresh fish, markets, and a calm evening atmosphere. Places worth visiting include Souk El Had, one of the city’s liveliest markets, the viewpoint at Kasbah Agadir Oufella, or nearby Taghazout, known for surfing. Travellers looking for experiences beyond the resort can also visit Paradise Valley in the Atlas Mountains or taste argan oil directly in its region of origin.
Hurghada is one of the most popular resorts on the Red Sea, especially thanks to its stable weather, wide choice of hotels, and excellent conditions for snorkelling and diving. Travellers come here for the turquoise sea, coral reefs, boat trips to the Giftun Islands, and a simple combination of relaxation and accessible experiences. In addition to the beach, Hurghada also offers trips to the Sahara Desert, quad biking, visits to Bedouin camps, or evening programmes in the marina and the old El Dahar district. For those who want to add history to their holiday, trips to Luxor or Cairo are also available.
For travellers looking for a less explored holiday destination, Baku is an ideal choice. The capital of Azerbaijan combines the UNESCO-listed historic core of Icherisheher with modern architecture, a promenade along the Caspian Sea, and a distinctive culture shaped by the Silk Road, Persia, the Caucasus, and the post-Soviet space. Visitors can explore the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, the Flame Towers, or the futuristic Heydar Aliyev Center. Memorable experiences outside the city include the mud volcanoes near Gobustan, ancient rock carvings thousands of years old, the Ateshgah Fire Temple, and Yanar Dag, the perpetually burning gas hillside.
