Smartwings will operate direct route to Dubai
20. 09. 2021 – From October 24th, Smartwings will start operating scheduled flights from Bratislava to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. During the winter, the route will be available once a week on Sundays. The direct flight, which will take approximately 5.5 hours, will be operated by a modern Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Bratislava Airport will regain direct route to Dubai after the operations of flydubai was suspended due to pandemic. This route will allow passengers to transfer for their connecting flights on the way to an exotic holiday on the islands of the Indian Ocean. The city of Dubai itself is an extremely popular and interesting tourist destination. The connection will also simplify the travel of Slovaks visiting the world exhibition Expo Dubai 2021. This event will be taking place from the beginning of October to the end of March.
„We are very glad to offer our clients not only available ticket prices, but also very convenient departure times which will be appreciated by passengers using Dubai International Airport as their connection point during their travels to Maledives, Mauritius, Phuket, Seychelles, Colombo, Muscat, Bombay or Bangkok“ said Peter Šujan, Sales Director of Smartwings.
Tickets at very affordable prices are already available on the Smartwings website. This company will also operate the usual charter flights to Salalah in Oman during the winter (1x per week).
Together with Ryanair's flights to Lanzarote and Copenhagen, this is the third new scheduled flight to be added in the winter flight schedule 2021.
