Passenger number increased by 18% in November

12. 12. 2018 – Bratislava Airport handled a total of 139,879 passengers in November. It is the highest number of passengers in November in the last ten years and the second highest November result in the history of the airport!

In November 2018, the number of passengers increased by 18% compared to November 2017, when the airport handled more than 118 thousands passengers.

"From the beginning of the year to the end of November, Bratislava Airport handled a total of 2 151 806 passengers, an increase of up to 18% compared to the same period of last year. At that time, in eleven months of the year 2017, the airport handled 1,82 million passengers, "said Jozef Pojedinec, chairman of the Board of Directors at M.R. Štefánik Airport.

During the eleven months of the year, Bratislava Airport recorded a total of 28,590 flights (+12%). It is more departures and arrivals than for the whole year 2017, when the airport recorded more than 27,000 aircraft movements. In November a total of 2,051 flights took place from Bratislava.

The most popular destinations from Bratislava are flights to London, Dublin and Moscow.
