Flights from Bratislava Airport to Gdańsk, Poland launch today
01. 04. 2025 – As of today, it is possible to fly from the capital of Slovakia to the Polish city of Gdańsk. A new air route from M. R. Štefánik Airport is being launched on April 1st, with a frequency of three departures per week. After seven years, Bratislava is once again connected by air to a Polish city.
“With the airline Ryanair, we have managed to arrange the opening of five new air routes from Bratislava in the summer flight schedule. Alongside flights to Bari, Milan-Malpensa, Zadar, and Skiathos, Gdańsk is a route where we see great potential, especially for extended weekend trips. The airline itself shares this view, which is why, from October, the frequency of flights to Gdańsk will increase from three to four flights per week,” said Dušan Novota, the CEO of M. R. Štefánik Airport.
In October, when the airline celebrates 20 years of operation at Bratislava Airport, it will also add a third based aircraft to its Bratislava hub, creating potential for increasing flight frequencies and introducing new routes.
The first passengers departing on the new flight to Gdańsk were rewarded with commemorative certificates and treated to light refreshments.
