Bratislava Airport handled more than 115,000 passengers in April
30. 05. 2023 – BRATISLAVA – The M.R. Stefanik Airport handled a total of 115,819 passengers on arrival and departure in the month of April. Compared to April 2022, this is a 31% increase. The renewal rate of the number of passengers for the same period of year 2019 thus amounts to 74%.
In the first four months of 2023, a total of 328,377 departing and arriving passengers were handled. In April, 1,786 take-offs and landings took place at the airport. In the first four months of 2023, there were a total of 6,385 take-offs and landings.
Among the most popular destinations for regular transport, London took first place, followed by Milan, Italy, and Malta in third place. The Greek destination of Thessaloniki and Skopje, Macedonia were placed in other places.
The exotic destinations of Salalah, Oman and Hurghada, Egypt dominated the charter traffic. Ryanair, Wizz Air and Smartwings carried the most passengers in April

Use of alternative transportation to the Airport
There is a public transport bus to M. R. Štefánik Airport no. 61 in the direction from the main railway station.
