Bolt rides at Bratislava Airport now available without the app
09. 07. 2026 – Passengers travelling through M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava can now benefit from new mobility services provided by Bolt. A new self-service Bolt TapBox kiosk has been installed in the Arrivals Hall, enabling passengers to book a ride without using the Bolt app.

while five dedicated Bolt pick-up bays have also been introduced directly outside the terminal for faster and more convenient transfers with Bolt partner drivers.
The new services form part of Bolt’s exclusive partnership with Bratislava Airport.
“Bratislava Airport is experiencing a period of record growth, and our objective is to ensure that the quality of our services grows at the same pace. Partnering with Bolt is a natural step forward. Passengers now have a clearly designated pick-up location where their driver is waiting, and they can arrange transport into the city immediately after arrival, regardless of whether they have a mobile phone, mobile data or the Bolt app,” said Dušan Novota, Chief Executive Officer of M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava.
The Bolt TapBox kiosk allows passengers to enter their destination, select their preferred vehicle category and pay by card. Before confirming the booking, the kiosk displays the final fare, ensuring passengers know the exact price before starting their journey. Once the booking is completed, passengers receive an SMS containing all journey details, including the vehicle information and a real-time tracking link.
The kiosk provides a practical solution for common travel situations, such as arriving with a discharged phone battery after a long flight, not having a local SIM card or mobile data, not having the Bolt app installed, or simply preferring a quick booking process without registration.
The dedicated Bolt pick-up zones are located in the P1 car park immediately outside the terminal, with three bays in front of the Arrivals Hall and two in front of the Departures Hall. The areas are clearly marked with Bolt branding and wayfinding signage, guiding passengers directly from the terminal exit to their designated pick-up point. This eliminates the need to search for their driver or walk across the car park.
Airport transfers are available in three categories: Airport Comfort, Airport Premium and Airport XL. Business travellers can book a premium vehicle for a seamless transfer to meetings, while families travelling with children or larger amounts of luggage can opt for the more spacious Airport XL category.
“Bratislava is a strategically important market for Bolt, and we want every passenger—regardless of where they are travelling from or whether they have the app installed—to enjoy convenient, transparent and reliable transport from the moment they arrive,” said Jan Uhlíř, General Manager of Bolt for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
