Almost 64,000 passengers were handled at the Bratislava airport in February
20. 03. 2023 – BRATISLAVA – In the second month of 2023, the Bratislava Airport served a total of 63,631 passengers on arrival and departure. The renewal rate of the number of passengers for the same period from 2019 represents 53%.
In 2 months of 2023, a total of 132,543 passengers were transported, including arrivals and departures. Compared to the same period in 2022, it is 69% more passengers. In the month of February, 1,467 take-offs and landings took place at the airport, which represents a 9% increase compared to the same period last year.
Among the most popular destinations for regular transport, London ranked first, followed by Milan in Italy and Dublin in Ireland in third place. Fourth in the order is Malta, which has overtaken many other traditional destinations. In February, exotic destinations Oman, Salalah and Zanzibar dominate the charter traffic. Ryanair, Wizz Air and Smartwings carried the most passengers in the second month.

Use of alternative transportation to the Airport
There is a public transport bus to M. R. Štefánik Airport no. 61 in the direction from the main railway station.
