Passengers may carry aerosols in their hand baggage, provided they are not flammable (the container must not include a fire pictogram), if:
- The maximum volume of one container is 100 ml.
- They are placed in a transparent and re-sealable plastic bag (together with liquids and gels), which must not exceed the volume of 1 litre, ensuring all contents fit into the plastic bag comfortably and the bag is completely sealed.
All aerosols must be taken out of hand baggage and declared individually by being placed in a tray together with baggage before passing through security control.Aerosols include:
- Underarm sprays and others.
! With regard to aerosols, it is not the actual volume in the container, but rather the volume stated on the container that will be considered. Volume regulations do not apply in the case of checked baggage, which the passenger drops off at the check-in counter. Plastic bags can be also purchased at the airport.
