Medication

Passengers may carry in their hand baggage commonly available medication in packaging of up to 100 ml or in solid form

  • Non-prescription medication,
  • placed in a transparent and re-sealable plastic bag (together with other liquids, aerosols and gels), which must not exceed the volume of 1 litre, ensuring all contents fit in the plastic bag comfortably and the bag is completely sealed.

Medication includes: headache tablets, nose sprays/eye drops, cough syrups, and others.

In the case of insulin pens or other liquid medication (cough syrups, contact lenses solution, drink for diabetics etc.) the packaging of which exceeds 100 ml:

  • it is possible to carry them in hand luggage and it is not necessary to carry a letter of confirmation from one’s doctor.
