Ryanair launches new route to Eilat Ovda in Israel Ryanair, Europe’s favourite airline, today (17 Feb) launched its Bratislava winter 2016 schedule, with a new route to Eilat Ovda and 3 new winter services to Brussels, Edinburgh and Manchester (13 routes in total) which will deliver 1.2m customers p.a. and support 900* jobs at Bratislava Airport. New route starts October 30th with twice weekly service.

Ryanair’s Bratislava winter 2016 schedule will deliver:

· 1 new route: Eilat Ovda (2 wkly)

· 3 new W16 routes: Brussels (daily), Edinburgh (2 wkly) & Manchester (3 wkly)

· 13 routes in total

· 57 weekly flights

· 1.2m customers p.a.

· 900* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Ryanair will continue to connect Bratislava with Europe’s major centres of business through high frequency services, including Berlin (daily), Dublin (daily) and London (2 daily), with more flights, better timings and the lowest fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for business and leisure customers.

“We are pleased to welcome new Bratislava – Israel route for our passengers. Thanks to cooperation with Ryanair we expect an increase in passenger number in 2016 as well as in 2015 and we expect total of 1.8m handled passengers. We forcast to reach 2 million passengers in 2017,” said Bratislava Airport CEO Ivan Trhlik.

Slovak consumers and visitors can choose from 13 Bratislava routes in winter 2016 and can look forward to further improvements, as Ryanair continues its “Always Getting Better” programme, which includes more new routes, a new app, new cabin interiors and new crew uniforms.

Ryanair also announced that it will base a second aircraft in Bratislava from March 2017, as it invests another $100m, further underlining its commitment to growing Slovakian toursim, traffic and jobs.
