Ryanair launches 4 new Bratislava routes via Milan Bergamo
Following the successful launch of connecting flights at Milan Bergamo in July, from today, Ryanair’s Bratislava customers can:
- Book connecting flights on 4 new routes to/from Cagliari, Catania, Porto and Valencia
- Transfer ‘airside’ between connecting flights without having to go ‘landside’
- Have their checked-in baggage transferred through to their final destination
- Use one booking reference for both flights
This connecting service is the latest initiative delivered under Year 4 of Ryanair’s “Always Getting Better” programme, with more connections to be rolled out at other airports across the Ryanair network later this year.
Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer David O’Brien said:
“Ryanair is pleased to extend our connecting flights service at Milan Bergamo Airport with another 25 routes added, including 4 new Bratislava routes to/from Cagliari, Catania, Porto and Valencia, offering our customers even more low fare choice. Starting today, Bratislava customers flying on these 4 routes will be able to transfer onto their next flight at Milan Bergamo without having to go landside, and will have their bags checked through to their final destination.
This connecting flights service, delivered under Year 4 of our “Always Getting Better” programme, is now available on 50 Milan Bergamo routes, as well as 10 routes via Rome Fiumicino Airport and will be rolled out at other Ryanair airports throughout our network, with even more routes to be added in the coming weeks and months. In addition, Ryanair.com, the world’s most visited airline website, also sells 20 long haul Air Europa routes to North and South America.
To celebrate the launch of the connecting flights we are releasing seats from Bratislava from just €19.99 for travel in September and October, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (17 Aug). Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out.”
