Ryanair celebrates its 7th anniversary in Bratislava

10. 10. 2012 - Airport Bratislava and Ryanair celebrates 7th anniversary of cooperation. Exactly 7 years ago on the 10th October 2005 the first Ryanair flight took off from Bratislava to Milan Bergamo.

On this special occasion one passenger of Ryanair flight from Dublin received a Ryanair-Flight-Voucher and a bottle of Slovak wine. The fortunate passenger was Mr Dieter Hartmann from Vienna, who was returning from his holiday in Ireland where he spent 12 days travelling around the country with his friends.

“We are happy that today's milestone celebration already takes place in our brand new terminal building. In combination with Ryanair's low fares, our new terminal with its modern design and smooth passenger handling process represents a great value for money for our customers. We appreciate that Mr Hartmann chose to use our services and we cordially congratulate him to his win”, stated Tomáš Kika, CCO of Airport Bratislava today.

Jana Skornicka is delighted to be celebrating yet another milestone in the history of Ryanair in Bratislava: ”Since the inaugural flight on the 10th of October 2005 to Milan (Bergamo) our operations at the airport grew in a consistent and constructive manner. Only 7 months have passed since our last anniversary on the 14th of March 2012 when we celebrated the five million passenger milestone. This growth is due to the high demand on low fares that only Ryanair offers applying its no fuel surcharge guarantee.”

Currently Ryanair offers 15 low-fares routes from Bratislava airport to seven countries in Europe, among this, destinations in sunny regions like Italy and Spain as well as exciting cities in France, Belgium, Ireland and Great Britain. Information and Bookings on www.ryanair.com.
