+190 destinations from Bratislava
15. 06. 2012 - Airport Bratislava launched its marketing campaign ”+190” highlighting the possibility to fly from Bratislava up to 190 destinations via Oslo, Copenhagen and Moscow. Passengers of Airport Bratislava can now fly to almost hundreds of destinations with just one air ticket with a guarantee of flight connections and baggage checked-in to the final destination. Campaign kicked off 1st June and will continue until the end of August 2012.
In the summer OOH campaign Airport Bratislava communicates through a simple visual which is based on key information in the form of number 190. The mark „+“ indicates 190 connecting routes in the context of already existing direct connections and cities of Oslo, Copenhagen and Moscow represent transport hubs which historically extend the portfolio of routes from Bratislava.
„We have connected Bratislava with the World“, says Tomas Kika, Chief Commercial Officer of Airport Bratislava and adds: „In less than one year after introducing new commercial strategy we succeeded to connect Airport Bratislava with major transport hubs such as Oslo, Copenhagen and Moscow. It is not about these three new routes which carriers moved from Vienna to Bratislava or which directly compete to Vienna but most of the nearly two hundred other comfortable options for the travellers. Using the original functional and in addition simple communication we want to share this historical and good news with our clients – the travelling public.“
Gate to the 190 new destinations with one stopover opens the Norwegian low-cost airline Norwegian Air Shuttle with a stopover in Oslo and Copenhagen and the third largest Russian carrier UTair Aviation with a stopover in Moscow.
„Mark plus and a number 190 are well understood in every European language and understandable as easy as to fly from Bratislava to the world via Scandinavia or Russia with only one air ticket and with the connecting flights guarantee“, explains Tomas Kika and specifies: „We will share the good news and new possibilities to travel from Bratislava through print media, billboards and megaboards at border crossing and at main roads, in means of public transport but also interactively on social networks and internet.“
Selected routes from the +190 offer:
