General strike in Belgium

30. 01. 2012 - Charleroi Airport closed due to general strike in Belgium

Unfortunately due to 24 – hour general strike in Belgium January 30th, Ryanair announced that flight to/from Airport Bratislava from/to Brussels South Charleroi Airport had to be cancelled.

As the strike of  Belgium’s  travel unions is planned for 24 hours access to Brussels South Charleroi Airport is expected to be blocked for whole day and every flight scheduled in today’s flight plan from/to had to be cancelled.

Passengers of Ryanair who were booked to travel on affected flights can rebook their cancelled flight free of charge by clicking on the web site of Irish air carrier or apply for a refund online.
